Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of Thyroid Nodules: An Innovative Treatment for Benign Thyroid Nodules

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a minimally invasive treatment for benign thyroid nodules that uses heat to shrink and destroy the nodules without surgery. It preserves healthy thyroid tissue, reducing the risk of hormone imbalances, and is performed under local anesthesia, allowing for a quick recovery with no visible scars.

Safe and highly effective, RFA significantly reduces nodule size within months, relieving symptoms like swelling or discomfort. As an outpatient procedure, it avoids the risks and costs of surgery, making it a modern and patient-friendly solution for managing thyroid nodules.
